Dawson Whitfield spent over a decade designing hundreds of logos for clients, but grew tired of the back-and-forth changes required to finalize a design. Knowing that millions of people start a business every year, he launched Looka (formerly Logojoy) in November 2016 to empower anyone to get great design quickly, at a price they could afford.
Dawson turned to machine learning to streamline the design process, working with CTO Andrew B. Martin to expand the technology. Since launching, the logo maker has served more than 5 million people in 188 countries, generating over 10 billion custom logos and helping thousands of businesses get the branding assets they need to succeed.
