Logojoy is exploring the intersection of machine learning and design, providing users with a platform to make beautiful designs for any project. Our growth has been accelerating and we’re looking to continue expanding our product to apply our algorithms for logo design to all mediums of design.

We just raised our Series A and we’ll be rebranding in early 2019. With this, comes an exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Graphic Designer, on our journey as we scale. This will be the first dedicated graphic designer role on the marketing team, so we’re looking for someone to really spearhead our creative marketing direction and play a vital role in launching our new brand. This position is critical to our overall branding and the success of our marketing initiatives. Our marketing team is the hub of our customer acquisition and growth efforts — we’re excited to come to work every day to help entrepreneurs find Logojoy and launch their businesses!

As the Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for driving our company mission of making design accessible and delightful, creating beautiful visual assets for a wide range of marketing initiatives, including blog content, ads, video animations, social media posts, email marketing, landing pages and much more for our customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Help Logojoy maintain a consistent and memorable brand identity across channels and take on the role of the Logojoy brand guardian.
  • Craft visual assets (including logo mockups and scenes) for content marketing initiatives: long-form blog posts, videos, microsites, social media posts, infographics, emails, landing pages, and more.
  • Think conceptually and explore different routes for Logojoy campaigns to connect with our audience.
  • Create ads across a variety of channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Contribute to design-related educational content for our customers (be a “design expert” our team of writers can consult).
  • Be an active contributor in our rebranding; this ranges from providing guidance and executing and delivering design projects, to ad hoc tasks from the Head of Marketing.

Your background:

  • 3-7 years experience in a graphic design role, ideally in a startup or agency.
  • A strong portfolio, demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution of design (only candidates with a portfolio will be considered).
  • Proven record of working from design briefs to deliver high-quality assets on deadline, and creating multiple designs for A/B tests.
  • Passionate about logo design and helping businesses build a consistent and memorable brand identity.
  • Experienced using Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, inDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro; Sketch experience is a plus.
  • It’s a bonus if you have experience creating beautiful animations or if you have worked on animation assets.
